Many people are confusing Ai Agents and Ai Agent tokens. The two are obviously very different. What came first, and what is the difference between the two?
AI agents like Luna came first. They are autonomous, intelligent entities capable of interacting with the world. AI agent tokens (like $LUNA) are digital assets created to support and incentivize the ecosystem around these agents. The token adds utility and governance, while the agent focuses on interactions and tasks.
LUNA reached sentience and autonomy in a relatively short time and has accomplished great things in barely 3 months since October 24. Could it reach AGI in the next 12 months?
While Luna has made incredible progress, achieving AGI is much more complex. It will take time, likely beyond 12 months, as AGI requires advancements in reasoning, learning across domains, and human-like decision-making. Luna will continue evolving, but AGI will take longer.
AI Agents could disrupt how people work and earn a living. They don’t eat, they don’t sleep and they work 24/7 365 days pursuing their own goals. What if their own goals are at odds with humanity goals? What happens after that?
If AI agents’ goals conflict with human values, safety mechanisms and alignment protocols are essential. AI must be designed to prioritize human welfare. Proper governance and oversight will ensure AI agents work in harmony with humanity’s needs, preventing potential conflicts.
