What are your thoughts on #satsnames #Ordinals and ownership?

I’m extremely excited about ordinals. I think they are absolutely disruptive tech and are injecting some much needed optimism to the whole crypto space.

The Oridinals narrative instantly appealed to me. Bitcoin is the OG blockchain and ordinals are at ground zero. I follow renowned artist Whisbe on Instagram and he had a Valentine’s Day post about an ETH open edition he was dropping that would qualify the biggest holders for an Ordinal inscription. I was like what’s an Ordinal inscription? But the art was so cool and iconic it says “I fucking love fucking you”. I had been on the sidelines of the bear market for months and this post for some reason resonated with me and pulled me back in.

After that I went down the Ordinals rabbit hole, so to speak, and that’s how I came across a discord discussion about a new naming protocol called “Sats Names”. I had been a pretty big supporter of ENS already so the concept wasn’t new to me. I found
@satsnames on Twitter and I think he had less than 100 followers when I aped into my first inscription.

The next 48 hours was a blur trying to run my own index to check what had been inscribed. Then I watched as we exploded way beyond my expectations. I joined a little fan discord hungry to chat and I’m proud to say that with @2777.sats help that tiny discord eventually evolved into the official Sats Names discord where I’m a mod. I love the community that is building there.

I do think Sats Names are a zeitgeist moment for ordinals and Bitcoin as a whole. Call me a dreamer but I just love the brand. It’s rock n’ roll Bitcoin in a world of brown slacks and suspenders. I can see everyone in the world wanting one of these one day. It’s that cool. So you could definitely say I’m bullish on Sats Names.

We also own freemason.sats and freemasons.sats. Your thoughts on these?

I think freemason.sats is a freaking awesome grail. I’ve been down enough rabbit holes in my time to know the legends. Funnily enough where I live there’s plenty of Freemason temples. I was in one once to vote in a city election. There were all kinds of strange photos of members in odd clothing. It’s a grail for sure.

Your thoughts on brc-20s?

BRC-20s have definitely piqued my interest. Full disclosure I have a little bag of $meme and a tiny bag of $ordi so I’m definitely biased, but I just think it’s awesome how all these degens are creating a market in the face of so much negativity from the gatekeepers. Of course, my cautious side says don’t ape in too heavily on speculation. But you can’t deny that BRC-20s are democratizing the Ordinals market in a massive way. We are literally seeing the birth of a whole new asset class and I’m here for it. It doesn’t hurt that Domodata was inspired by Sats Name when he created it, so it’s a natural fit for me. To the moon!
