Q: Hi Kim, thanks for joining us today. Let’s dive right in – what was your initial reaction to the reaction your “breaking the Internet” photos received?

A: Honestly, I was a little taken aback. I knew the photos were going to be controversial, but I didn’t expect them to blow up as much as they did. It was overwhelming to see so much attention focused on me and my body.

Q: How did you feel about the criticism that the photos were too risqué or inappropriate?

A: I understand that not everyone is going to like or agree with what I do. But at the end of the day, I was proud of the photos and the message behind them. I wanted to show that women can be confident and proud of their bodies, regardless of what society says is “appropriate.” And I think that message resonated with a lot of people.

Q: Some people accused you of using the photos as a publicity stunt. What’s your response to that?

A: I can understand why people might think that, but that wasn’t my intention at all. I did the photos because I wanted to do them – not because I wanted attention or to boost my career. I’ve never been someone who shies away from controversy, but I always try to stay true to myself and my values.

Q: Looking back on it now, do you have any regrets about the photos?

A: Not at all. I’m proud of the photos and the conversation they sparked. Of course, there were some negative reactions, but I think the overall impact was positive. I feel like I was able to help start a conversation about body positivity and self-confidence, and that’s something I’ll always be proud of.

Q: What advice would you give to other women who want to feel confident and proud of their bodies?

A: I would say to just be yourself and embrace who you are. Don’t worry about what other people think or say – at the end of the day, it’s your body and your life. And if you want to show it off or celebrate it, go for it! Life is too short to worry about other people’s opinions.
