82.5m sats or US$25,354.90 was the Winning Bid by hash_bender for Inscription #305 listed by @VeryOrdinally whom we have interviewed some time ago about his foray into #Ordinals
He is in fact a co-founder of the Ordinals protocol but he prefers to be called Ordinal Technical Fellow.
This successful auction took place on Ord.City proving that even 1/1 sub 1K inscriptions are extremely valuable because of the low inscription number (regardless of the artwork😂) .
By extension it likely means that sub 1M Ordinals inscriptions will be valuable in the near future when ordinals surpass 100M inscriptions.

As for me, I’m buying any sub 1M inscriptions that are currently under priced because my theory (and I could be wrong) is that when 100M inscriptions have been inscribed, all sub 1M will be valuable in varying degrees.
Of course I am also buying for the artwork but mostly, low priced sub 1M Ordinals inscriptions.
It’s a long term bet.
