Why are Bitcoin stamps mostly pixel, super optimized art?

Because it’s expensive. You get charged by the lines of code that make the image. You can actually stamp bigger files, is just crazy expensive. In that sense thats a point for ordinals, bigger assets. But constraints are fun, part of the game experience and general vibe of the art part of the movement of stamps. And for sure both technologies will develop who knows where…

How are Bitcoin stamps different from ordinals in layman’s terms?

Ordinal where first in time. That will always bring value to them for me (I know other tried first, long ago even) Ordinals allows for now bigger files but can be pruned. That means they can be turn off from the chain (but they are still there) for some ordinals are maybe incomplete but that surpasses my technical knowledge. The explosion that ordinals brought can be ignored either. Im bias because Ordinals treat me good.

I knew about them (stamps) since the very beginning. Ill never forget myself not being in the first 100 assets. Anyway Im going to quote Arwyn “stamps are the stage where many things will happen” its what turns Bitcoin into a bigger Disneyland. For now is like an Atari from 1980. And then there is the community of Stamps. People that comes from the weirdest, heavier, densely smart, conceptual movement from the Nft Twitter art Rpg. Do you have a minute to speak about Mikaboshi or Rare Pepes? Amazing minds are involved in Stamps, and call me chauvinistic, but im honored to call them friends
