What inspired historic inscription 162994 and why did you decide to inscribe it?

Inspiration for the original Soapy Booba Nft collection/Inscription #162994 was very simple, Immortalization. I wanted to immortalize my wife’s beautiful assets on the blockchain forever.

It started with gamestop teasing their upcoming marketplace launch and Loopring Layer2 protocol launching their public layer2 minting eco. As an old school gamer, I always loved easter-eggs in games, and the direct inspiration for this nft collection as an easter-egg came from an old Team Fortress Classic map called freakle3, a custom map where you could explore rooms and if you clicked the right thing in the right room, a picture would appear out of a desk in game with nsfw content.

As a kid I thought this was fascinating and it stuck with me all these years. I saw this as an opportunity to place my own easter-egg in a bluechip gaming companies block explorer for future deviant gamers to stumble upon.

As gamestop and loopring developers didn’t consider their ecosystem would be used for such a degenerate case, several pieces of the collection were successfully minted and completely visible on the nft explorer. They rushed a git-commit to blacklist my wallet/collection and quickly launched an update to their explorer to blur/filter all images by default to provide a safety net for showing nsfw content on their eco.

Several mints were sold otc to other degenerates in the space that appreciate when the envelope is being pushed and Soapy Booba cemented its name as the degenerate push-the-envelope collection on L2 and eventually L1 Ethereum, as I realized I could just withdraw the collection to layer1 with minimal fees and it made its way to opensea.

When I got word of Ordinals (sub 50k inscriptions) I saw an opportunity to truly immortalize my wife’s assets, and the story of Soapy Booba on the first and only true blockchain, Bitcoin.

I reached out to a friend who had an actively synced node and Inscription #162994 was made. So with that backstory and explanation I arrive back at my original point of Immortalization. I like to speculate, that if Bitcoin is truly going to be the future of finance and does indeed still exist in 20-100 years (it likely will, unless AI wipes us all) that my wife and I in old age can look back at her beautiful under 30 figure on the blockchain and not only revel in its beauty, but have her figure and story live on for the future to see and enjoy.

Inscription #162994 is a Historical Digital Financial Artifact that exists on both Bitcoin and Ethereum for future degenerate enjoyooors.

The Inscription is censored on Ord.io but not on Magic Eden or Ordiscan.com or Ordinals.com

How do you feel about Ord.io censorship of your ordinal?

As it is not my first time being censored, I was not surprised, as most major platforms have to cater to a familial audience. On Ord.io initial launch the AI NSFW Filter did not catch Inscription #162994, and as a supporter of the Ordinals space and supporter of Leonidas’ project, I pushed for as many upvotes on launch day for visibility and to help correct their filter system.

Within 24hours the NSFW filter was applied to my ordinal, and whether people see it as degenerate or unnecessary , it helped provide insight on a flaw in their filter system and gave them an opportunity to correct it.

With this concept in mind, and the back story I provided in Q1, I’d like the reader to consider the ramifications of the following. If I never launched nsfw content on Loopring/Gamestop ecosystem, would there have been an NSFW filter system put in place for content?

Could another bad actor with much worse content and intentions do more, unfixable damage? So the question more so stands as a lesser of two evils question, would you rather an inscription of an adult woman’s breasts make it around your filter system or something much worse and depraved?

These questions in mind, I like to think Soapy Booba and its NFT collection saved gamestop/looprings layer2 market, as it showed flaws and lack of foresight in their systems and gave a fair opportunity to correct and much less of a mess to clean up.

Soapy Booba, the savior of ecosystems and provider of boner utility.

Are you a Bitcoin Frog maxi coz you have a lot?

Surprisingly enough, I don’t hold that many Bitcoin Frogs. I can count my frog holdings on less than 2 hands. I am a Bitcoin Frog maxi for a few basic reasons. It was the first 10k inscription project to sell out in less than 90 minutes with no promise of utility or roadmap, just art of frogs on Bitcoin.

It utilized the option to mint with Lightning, which onboarded hundreds of new users to Lightning, which was a learning experience provided through the project.

The initial mint was flawed, the clothes layer on the frogs was minted behind the skin layer and the dev quickly paused the mint and with his own funds (close to 1 BTC) fixed the layer issue on the inscriptions and dropped all 10k corrected into the minters wallets.

You rarely see this kind of conviction and integrity in NFT projects and I wanted to be part of it. Also the vibes in the Bitcoin Frogs swamp are immaculate, we vibe, we ribbit, we share alpha, but most of all we support other communities on Ordinals/Bitcoin and help inform and teach new users about the benefits of the space.

Which is also why I am such an ordinals maxi, because it is the first NFT-like ecosystem that also involves learning about the systems behind the assets the user is investing in, teaches about the real technical nuances of Bitcoin, which drives even more growth.
