You are definitely a big part of Freename. In the last months we’ve seen you cover many roles ranging from Marketing, Communications, Social Media and more. What motivates you ?

To answer your question, my motivation to actually enter the web3 space was Freename. The project itself motivates me.

As soon as I learned about the project, literally my life and priorities changed and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

I knew this was going to be different and become big.

Today more than ever, I remain of the same opinion, I trust the project and the goals we’ve set for it and I deeply trust the Freename community. Our community is amazingly supportive and loyal.

Freename has been a game changer in web3 since day one. I strongly believe that even if Freename is so young in the industry, it has already made major shifts and changes.

We have accomplished so much and we are in our 5th month from inception. I feel it’s already very telling of what the future will be!

Since our inception, we have proven what we stand for and what we want to accomplish.

The key word is transparency – as we will tell the truth to our community and supporters at all costs, finding solutions and answers together, as we are all paving the way of web3 domaining and it’s future adoption, right now.

Secondly, we listen carefully to all suggestions by the Freename domain community and implement the changes. All our community members are welcome to contribute to our Freename roadmap.

Can you explain the the process of linking Freename NFT domains to a DNS website?

Sure! These are the steps:
-Login on Freename and click on your personal area “Portfolio and Incomes”
-Go to the section “Domains” and click on the button “Manage” of the desired Domain you want to link the website to.

• In the section DNS Records insert the URL of the web link you wish to connect to a certain domain in the box “ URL redirect”, then click “Save to blockchain” to finalize it.
• Select the wallet you want to pay the transaction with and confirm!
• Once the transaction has been confirmed on blockchain, this banner will show on screen “Data has been saved successfully”
  -Click “Browse” on the Freename Extension
  -Type your Web3 domain and click on “GO”
  ⁃ In alternative, you could directly insert in your browser’s search bar directly your web3 domain, proceeded by “http://“ and by pressing enter, you will be directed to the desired linked website.

What are some other potential applications and use cases for Freename Web Extension technology?

We are giving our domains many super powers, making them more and more useful and connecting them to web2 even in a way.

Think about a web3 domain in many instances as a “link tree”, as you can use it for many things as also linking a website obviously.

That is also very important for many factors, because people will be able to insert in a web3 domain their identity if they want by linking their social media links or they can use it as a “business card” and link their LinkedIn profile or even more importantly, as in the case of brands or content creators and influencers they’ll be able to link their most representative web page to it for either brand awareness or even directly via e-commerce and promote direct sales from a web3 domain and that’s crazy if you think about it!
